The Simple 6

All members of the Mildmay Primary School community are asked to follow our Simple 6. These overarching qualities are our collective Code of Conduct, our guiding principles for a happy, healthy learning environment and the rules by which we all live.

We believe that all interactions relating to a child's behaviours (positive or negative) can be couched in these terms and that we can best promote these qualities in children by modelling them as adults.

Children receive 'Super Citizen' certificates for exemplifying these principles and can earn Bridge Academy Trust Community Awards by showing these qualities at home and in the wider community.

Children are taught to consider these as expectations and are explicitly taught what is required to demonstrate the Simple Six. They are also taught the BSL signs for the Simple 6 in the first weeks of their education.
